"The return of the legend", Jose Chameleon announces dates for his concert.

In a mind blowing announcement, Dr Jose Chameleon has declared he will be holding his concert before the end of this year.

Born Joseph Mayanja on April 30, 1979, the 'maama mia' fame artist started his music career earlier in the 1990's. known for his Afrobeat and Reggae styles of music, the legendary artist still remains among the top musicians of Uganda with over two decades of stardom.

 

In 2024, Chameleon was rushed to Nakasero hospital in a critical condition where he was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis, a condition that later saw him taken to the USA for further treatment and recovery.

In a post shared on his social media handles, the legend revealed he will be holding his concert on August 1 ,this year. The announcement comes with great news to Ugandans who have all along been waiting and promising to celebrate the life of the legend with a concert. 

The concert promises to be a record breaking one with Chameleon being one of the greatest stage performers in the country. Different Ugandans especially entertainment analysts however expect this to be the  legend's last concert before he would take a musical break.

With the venue unspecified, Ugandans expect  him to hold his concert from Namboole stadium though the musician is considering Kololo airstrip with other venues being small compared to the expected turn up. It's of no doubt that Chameleon will make history that will stand for years with the leading promoter ABITEX PROMOTIONS headlining the event according to Chameleon.
