MUBENDE: Concern has raised among station managers of different radio stations in Mubende and nearby districts.
These have been worriedly forced to increase salaries of their prominent presenters due to the fear of the ongoing unseasoned transfer market.
The establishment of Sure Fm has made notable transfers of different media personalities from different stations joining the new station.
Based in Kasambya, Mubende, 99.9 SURE FM is a project of Kasambya Constituency Member of Parliament Honorable David Kabanda. Known for his selfless service provision to the people of Kasambya, Kabanda has been a people's representative throughout the term and will undoubtedly be elected again in the upcoming general elections.
Honorable David Kabanda is the incumbent Member of Parliament for Kasambya Constituency.Known for his pure love for the leading National Resistance Movement (NRM), the former Mbabule Fm news anchor has continuously led by example to fulfill the NRM manifesto. His love for the yellow party has earned him worldwide recognition. He recently organized a red letter day in his county as he hosted the Buganda for Museveni launch where different musicians performed and this earned him great support from voters who were given free access to the venue.
He is also the Secretary General for Patriotic League Of Uganda (PLU), a party led by the first son of the Nation. With the current developments under his leadership, we're optimistic that Kasambya will shine if he is given another opportunity in the next elections.
Airing early last month, Sure Fm has unapologetically continued to recruit presenters who joined the station like greased lightening.
Different radio stations lost their favourite employees to the station but 105.1 Point FM was the most affected, with its key presenters knocking off. Below is a list;
1. Africa Ronald:
Known for his bitter truth especially on matters of politics in the country, Africa will be missed by the point FM management and listeners who are likely to shift to listening to Sure Fm. He's also known for his smartness on and off duty.
He currently hosts the #sandabula show which airs on Sure Fm.

For over five years, Selector Maggie 'owa work' has been an outstanding and entertaining presenter at point FM. He's however rumoured to be a strong agent in this transfer due to his close relationship with Honorable Kabanda.
He was the first to join Sure Fm and this move wasn't surprising since he was a close friend to the MP, having worked with him on the same station in Ssembabule years back.
3. Muwanguzi Steven.
Owakatabo was another notable figure to join Sure Fm from Point FM.
With over eight years at the station, Steven was one of Point FM's most consistent presenters.
Known for his fun and entertaining but researched sports analysis and commentary, Steven will surely be missed at Point FM after this move.
His teamwork with Bwanika Ronald has been an unmatched sports duo in the region.

With the station continuously recruiting more workers, different sister stations risk losing their workers.
Different propagandists have linked these transfers to apolitical move aimed at weakening the Lwemiyaga county Member of Parliament and owner of Point Fm Hon: Theodore Sekikubo who has for over two decades been a threat to the NRM government which Kabanda serves wholeheartedly.
These allegations should however not be taken serious as no one has a satisfying evidence.
With its current entertaining and fully researched information that limits no age group, Sure Fm is anticipated to be among the leading stations in the region in years ahead.
