Vj Jingo of Katandika Butandisi.Born Tabula Timothy Kizito (Ssalongo), VJ Jingo has for over the years entertained the world of movie lovers with his unique style of translation.
Known for his sonorous voice that is sometimes mixed with lies, the legendary Vj's movies leave everyone giggling.
His talent has not only earned him fame but also some big deals of producing brand adverts and entertaining revellers on different functions.
Vj Jingo was set to perform in Mubende.On Friday 23rd August,2024 , the Katandike Butandisi fame VJ was set to perform in Mubende municipality, on a show he was booked and paid for but never showed up. The event was venued at Deuces Lounge, a rooftop bar in Mubende where the Mubende film stars had organized a movie premiere and Jingo was among the highly anticipated performers.
While addressing the attendees, Selector Maggie, real names Magembe Badru, a member of the mubende film stars furiously cursed the legendary VJ for ashaming their brand.
He also expressed his disappointment by Jingo, having misinformed him until the last hour of the event.

" I called his (Jingo's) manager and he asked me to send part of the agreed money which I did. Even today, he assured me they were coming until 10pm when he started ignoring my calls"...Selector Maggie said.
" I am a media personality and a leader of the musicians federation, I will make sure Jingo pays for this before he can come back to Mubende".. Maggie added.
He then apologised to everyone affected by Jingo's absence and promised to organise another day for the movie premiere where there will be no entry fees.
