For over the recent years, the commander of defense forces and first son General Muhoozi Kainerugaba has been the most active tweep in Uganda.
His tweets characterized by cautious warnings against different people and nations have always attracted public attention and raised questions about who's the chief administrator of his X account.
Trained at prestigious military academies around the world, the son of Uganda's President Yoweri Museveni has turned out to be an army general who has gained notoriety for politically explosive tweets that have sent local and regional politics into a tailspin. It should be remembered that in 2022, the general tweeted he would attack and crush Kenya, a warning that forced his father (President Museveni) apologize to the neighbors.
For over the last two years, Muhoozi has always used his X account to attack the President of the National Unity Platform, a leading opposition party in the Pearl of Africa.
Bobi Wine has always taken the attacks lightly with less responses characterized by accusation of alcohol, calling the first son a drunkard and leaving the netizens to judge.
In the most recent tweets, the Kyarenga hit maker furiously responded to MK's tweet, expressing his readiness for a one on one fight.
Muhoozi had tweeted inviting Bobi for a boxing match, something Bobi welcome overwhelmingly.
In his quick response, Bobi accepted the challenge but on condition.
As this match is not for a belt, Bobi suggested that if he loses the fight , he will quit politics but if he wins, then Muhoozi should quit alcohol.
The response sparked off mixed reactions with Uganans expressing their readiness to cheer up their respective parties (Muhoozi and Bobi).
Different fans of the boxing game suggest that Namboole stadium would be the best venue with many anticipating this fight to be scheduled before the 2026 general elections season.
We have however not confirmed this venue and exact date but we shall keep you updated.
