POPULAR UGANDAN MUSICIAN TO CONTEST FOR PARLIAMENTARY SEAT IN 2026:

Uganda is one of the countries with the most active and competitive politics around the world. 

The general elections run after every five years, creating thirsty for change seekers around the country.

As the election season draws closer, different people express their interests in running for different positions. Uganda has over the recent years been characterized by musicians, comedians and media personalities joining active politics, among them is Robert Kyagulanyi populary known as Bobi Wine , a musician - turned politician who heads the leading opposition party in the country.

As the 2026 general elections come closer , different people are aspiring for different positions of leadership, among them is musician Mayanja Ibrahim populary known as Big Eye.

Big eye to run for Parliamentary seat in 2026.

For over the years, Big Eye has been involved in different political activities, raising concern about what could be his intention.

In a recent post on his social media handles, the sula indicator fame artist articulated his ambition to run for second biggest political position in the country.

He however expressed his discontent for those that have always attacked him advising him to focus on music other than politics.

"I'm tired of seeing the comment from some people saying Big Eye leave politics and focus on music on some of my social media posts", Big Eye wrote on one of his posts.

"......in fact I should consider running for a Parliamentary seat in 2026....",he added. 

Like other musicians, the husband material is proudly inspired by Bobi Wine and it's with no doubt that he will compete under the umbrella of National Unity Platform.
