Mikel Merino signs for Arsenal.Despite the long process, Arsenal and Real Sociedad reached an agreement on a deal worth £27.4m with a further £4.2m in add-ons. The Spaniard has signed a four-year deal with an option for a further twelve months.
The Spanish international is well known for his midfield strength and experience, having featured in the Spain National team that won the 2024 Euro against England.

Mikel Merino will wear a no.23 jersey that was previously wore by Belgian midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga who is currently at Spanish La Liga side Sevilla Fc.
